Matthew Fey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who joined the Russell Jones Center as a School Based Therapist in 2023. They received their Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Kansas, their Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University, and they obtained their clinical license in 2021. Matthew utilizes a trauma-informed perspective and integrates multiple modalities into treatment, including EMDR, therapeutic play, and IFS-informed practice. Prior to joining Russell Jones, Matthew worked as a therapist in Community Mental Health, where they served children and families experiencing a range of challenges, including addiction, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, family conflict, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, and trauma. Outside of school, Matthew enjoys art, hiking, and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
